Train Smart: I’m always asking “Why are we doing this exercise?” and if it doesn’t make your daily life better or if it doesn’t make sense, then we Don’t Do It! Simple as that.

Be Strong: My goal is to help uncover the strength you didn’t know you had. By going back to the basics and correcting poor movement patterns, your body begins to move more efficiently. When you move better, you’re able to use your body better and “magically” you’re stronger!

Live Balanced: Balance in Life is encouraged here. Juggling work, play, time with family, exercise, and healthy eating can be a challenge. I’m here to help simplify things and help you find the formula that works for your life.

 

About Owner, Valerie Hedlund:

Currently working out of Iron Clad Fitness in Southeast Denver as well as her studio in Centennial, Colorado, Valerie serves the greater Denver area as a fitness, kettlebell, and strength coach. She offers a variety of services to include kettlebell classes, one-on-one training, and small group training. As a fitness trainer, she has personally helped hundreds of people lead healthier lives over the last 9 years.
Valerie specializes in training women whose bodies have changed and feel that with every passing year, they have less time and energy to do what they need to do to keep themselves strong and healthy.
“I understand the fitness and health needs of women in general, but I also know that every person is unique. I have learned to listen to each client’s specific needs to make sure the program is personalized for her body type and goals.”
Understanding that women today are busy with families as well as careers, Val helps them find the time to focus on themselves and use that time more wisely so they can finally see results without exercise and diet consuming their lives.
